Protein at the second meal: one of the three things that happen every day

When appetite is smaller, the plate has less room on it, and what gets squeezed out first is almost always the protein. Putting it on the plate before anything else is the whole technique.

Needs: Nothing at all

How to do it

Protein goes on the plate first, every time, then the rest fills in around it. If the meal ends early, the part that mattered is already eaten.

The cue your plan prints
Smaller appetite means protein goes on the plate first, every time.
What counts
A palm of protein, on the plate before anything else is.

What goes wrong

Three faults, each written as the fix.

The plate is built in the usual order
Order is the entire intervention here. Protein first is not a preference, it is what makes a small appetite still work.
It is forced
A smaller amount, eaten, beats a larger amount left. The point is that it is first, not that it is big.
Liquid protein is ruled out
A drink counts. On a day when a plate is too much, a glass is not a compromise.

Where it sits

The second of the three, in place of the walk, for anybody on a pathway that suppresses appetite. The walk is the second slot otherwise.

Why only three

Because three is what survives the worst day of the month, and a floor that only works on a good day is not a floor. A safety answer can swap one of the three for another or change its cue; nothing can make it four.

The longer version

Nothing on this page is medical advice and none of it is a diagnosis. MDRN is a general wellness product. If anything in your health picture needs attention, talk to a clinician.
