Water with every meal: one of the three things that happen every day

Every attempt to drink more water that depends on remembering fails, because remembering is the part that breaks. Attaching it to the plate removes the remembering entirely.

Needs: Nothing at all

How to do it

When the plate lands, the glass lands with it. That is the whole practice and there is no amount to hit.

The cue your plan prints
When the plate lands, the glass lands with it.
What counts
One glass, with the plate. Every plate.

What goes wrong

Three faults, each written as the fix.

A daily total is chased
There is no number here on purpose. A quota you have already missed by the afternoon is a habit you abandon by the evening.
It depends on a bottle being filled
The glass is wherever the plate is. The less equipment a habit needs, the fewer ways it fails.
Other drinks are treated as cheating
They are not. This is one glass of water alongside the meal, not a rule about everything else you drink.

Where it sits

Always the third of the three. The cue changes to include a glass on waking when a safety answer asks for more fluid; the habit is the same one.

Why only three

Because three is what survives the worst day of the month, and a floor that only works on a good day is not a floor. A safety answer can swap one of the three for another or change its cue; nothing can make it four.

The longer version

Nothing on this page is medical advice and none of it is a diagnosis. MDRN is a general wellness product. If anything in your health picture needs attention, talk to a clinician.
